ECO4 is a government-backed scheme that helps eligible UK households improve energy efficiency through fully funded upgrades like insulation, heating systems, and solar panels.​

Is it really 100% free?
Yes! If you qualify, the entire process is free, including surveys and installations.​

Who qualifies?

You only need one qualifying route and one person in the household to be eligible.

You could qualify if:

• Your home is energy inefficient (e.g. heated by LPG, Oil, or Electric Storage Heaters)
  OR

• Someone in your household has a long-term health condition such as High Blood Pressure, Asthma, Limited Mobility, or Diabetes
  OR

• Your total household income is below £31,000
  OR

• You receive certain benefits (e.g. Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit)

What upgrades are available?

• Air source heat pumps​

• New gas central heating systems​

How long does it take?
